What was your first Pokemon game

The first one I played was Red version but the first one I owned was a gold version which i still have to this very day.

My firsts were Red and Blue. Later I bought yellow then silver. Just recently I bought Leaf green and pearl. I still own them all. I currently only play Pearl tho.

Mine was Yellow, where Pikachu follows you around. It made the game very real for me, being able to interact with my Pikachu, so I was hooked. I also have Silver, all the GBC games, Diamond, and Pearl.
